Reaching Out

And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Acts 2:47

In five years, it is my prayer that my sons will find a church for their family. One local and the other in Seattle area. Along with that prayer is that we both will be able to enjoy that reunion of faith together. St. Tim’s will provide the kind of support that will relight an involvement for both families.

We feel so blessed to be part of this vibrant and loving community and we can’t imagine life without it. Our friendships are deep and affirming. We show up on moving day to load boxes on trucks, we shop for cribs and strollers when a baby arrives unexpectedly early, we cry and pray for each other when a family experiences a tragedy. But over half our local population does not attend church, and although they may consider themselves spiritual, they are not participating in a faith community that can offer them this kind of support. We would like to find, invite, support, and share our blessings with those who are seeking Christ-filled community. St. Timothy’s can provide both spiritual and practical help, opportunities for fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth for people of all ages. Although many of us are involved in service and mission work outside of our parish life, we would like to expand our opportunities to serve as the body of Christ and are looking for a leader to inspire and guide that effort.
