Five years from now, I will be away on the women’s retreat, surrounded by old friends and new, drinking deep, soaking in the Holy Spirit. My husband will be home with our children, but not alone. He too will be surrounded by a community of parenting buddies, and they too will be doing life together.

Although we approach our ministries with a seriousness of purpose, we also know that recreation is a crucial part of a healthy and balanced life. Fun creates friendships and fellowship. We love a good party or picnic, summer yoga classes, bike rides, music and movement classes for children, birthday parties for 5-year-olds and 50-year-olds, men’s group, and moms’ nights out. We seek a rector who reminds us through word and example of the healthy balance of work and play and who understands that recreational activities foster fellowship and community.
